Go for the XXL letters

Traditional embroidery patterns from the Danube region, the mill wheel of a historic ship mill or the octopus arms of the ‘White Night’ art festival in Bratislava: if you look closely, you can discover many a detail from the exhibition ‘Danube. River Stories’ exhibition.

Together, the participants of the International DZM Forum ‘Migration connects’ looked for ideas for the creative design of the XXL letters in the new exhibition – and found them. Which stories fascinate them? Which objects or object details do they particularly like? What would they like to draw visitors’ attention to? Freshly inspired, they picked up their brushes and colours.

The group staged a photo shoot with the XXL letters in and in front of the museum. And showed what is possible with the XXL letters.

Visitors were also able to take photos of themselves with the colourful XXL letters at a photo point set up with a photo box and take the free pictures home with them. The XXL letters could be put together to form different words: DONAU, FLUSS, DZM or ULM.
