Results of the Danube Summer Academy 2003

At the invitation of the Danube Swabian Central Museum, ten young artists from Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia worked in the museum for ten days. The aim of the Danube Summer Academy with the topic “Cultural Spaces along the Danube in Past and Present” was to promote cultural exchange between South-Eastern Europe and South-West Germany. The results were on display in the museum from July 20th to September 28th.

The summer academy was carried out in cooperation with the Stuttgart artist Dorothea Fleiss and her project East-West-Artists, with the cultural workshop kontiki and the donau.büro.ulm.
