Budapest in four days - an exploration

From an informative city tour to an exciting football match: a small exhibition in the DZM cabinet presents the results of a four-day excursion by students from the University of Tübingen to the capital of Hungary last June.

What makes Budapest special? 17 students of German Studies and Empirical Cultural Studies asked themselves this question and looked for answers in various places within the city on the Danube. They spoke to writers, employees of various cultural institutions, met experts and talked to people on the street.

At the end of the collaborative project between the University of Tübingen, the Institute for Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies and the Danube Swabian Central Museum, a small exhibition was created that shows the group’s findings as well as unusual artefacts.
