Migration using the example of the Danube Swabia

For grades 7 - 9

in the 18. and In the 19th century, numerous people made their way to Southeast Europe. Why did they emigrate? How did the settlement process go? What fates shaped the emigrant families? What belongings did they take with them? What structures, cultures and languages did they find when they arrived and how did they deal with them? The young people actively deal with these questions and thus work out the history of the Danube Swabians, which tells of emigrating, arriving and settling in another country.
