Flow in life

Danube as a source of life

For grades 7 - 9

Many animal species live in the Danube and it has always been used by humans. Fishing and the generation of electricity are just two examples. The young people get to know the river as a living space, but also its benefits for people. How does a hydropower plant work and what are the consequences for the environment? Answers are sought on how water quality can be researched and the Danube protected.
