For grades 10-13

in the 18. and In the 19th century, thousands of people from different German regions emigrate to Southeast Europe. The story of these emigrants and their descendants is about new beginnings, about peaceful coexistence with other peoples, but also about how nationalism and the Second World War led to the loss of homeland. The young people go on a search for traces through the exhibition and discover objects and biographies that cast a diverse look at the history of the Danube Swabians.
