Traditional embroidery patterns from the Danube region, the mill wheel of a historic ship mill or the octopus arms of the “White Night” art festival in Bratislava: if you look closely, you can discover many a detail on the XXL letters from the exhibition “Danube. River Stories” exhibition.

Together, the participants of the International DZM Forum “Migration connects” looked for – and found – ideas for the creative design of the XXL letters in the new exhibition. What stories fascinate them? Which objects or object details do they particularly like? What do you want to draw the visitors’ attention to? Freshly inspired, they have taken up brushes and paints.

At the photo shoot in September, the group will stage themselves and the XXL letters in and in front of the museum and in the exhibition. From mid-November, visitors to the DZM will also be able to have their picture taken with the colorful XXL letters at a photo point. These can be combined to form different words: DONAU, FLUSS, DZM or ULM.
