The exhibition presents concrete art from the Danube region from the Josef Böhm Collection. The works on display were created between 1960s and2010s. They demonstrate that progressive artists chose the same forms of artistic expression – even in times of division, on both sides of the Iron Curtain.

On display are works by artists who had or have a connection to the Danube region. These include: the sculptor Ingo Glass, whose steel sculptures can also be seen in front of the DZM, the artist Dóra Maurer, whose works can be seen in the Tate Modern in London, among others, and Diet Sayler, one of the most important European artists of Concrete Art.
