Klimó - Keserü - Haász - Fehér

Current art from Hungary

11/17/06 - 02/04/07

The Budapest painters and graphic artists Károly Klimó, Ilona Keserü, István Haász and László Fehér often refer to Hungarian artists before and after the Second World War, such as László Moholy-Nagy, Lajos Kassák or Viktor Vasarely. All four – born between 1933 and 1953 – were already active in socialist Hungary before 1989. After the fall of the Wall, they did not adapt to western trends, but consistently continued on their path.
