The landscapes between the Adriatic and the Danube couldn’t be more different. The history of the country is as varied as nature. Croatia connects East and West, the Mediterranean with the Pannonian area. This bridge position is also reflected in the Roman, Ottoman, Habsburg and Yugoslav heritage.
