Her focus is on the experiences and perspectives of women, children and young people who belonged to German-speaking minorities in Eastern Europe. Their stories are not only about forced departures and new beginnings, but also about strength, dignity and finding the freedom to act in extreme situations.<\/p>\n

Being on the road, living in between, arriving, looking back \u2013 how is the past connected to the present? How does social cohesion evolve? What can we hold on to?
