Behind this wish lies the hope of being able to view known areas more comprehensively from a distance and to understand them better. Only the bird&#8217;s eye view enables a comprehensive view of the surroundings, the extent and structure of a monument or settlement and its location in the landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The aerial photos by the Swiss Georg Gerster give an overview of the most important art monuments and historical cities in the area of today&#8217;s Romania. The focus of the exhibition was on those objects that play a key role in the development of art. 16 World Heritage Sites, historical city ensembles and landscape photographs were shown.
