Trained at the art academies in Budapest and Belgrade, he received the “Sveti-Sava” – order of the Yugoslav king for cultural merit and international understanding in 1938; In 1971 he received the Culture Prize of the Danube Swabians of the State of Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and in 1983 the Georg Dehio Prize.<\/p>\n

The Danube Swabian Central Museum acquired all of the works in the \u201cPath of the Danube Swabians\u201d cycle with state funds. In this work comprising more than 160 paintings, watercolors and drawings, Sebastian Leicht describes the everyday life of the Danube Swabians from settlement to expulsion.<\/p>\n
