Eleven T\u00fcbingen students of empirical cultural studies joined in the celebrations with their exhibition \u201cHome Things\u201d.<\/p>\n

The focus was on people who have contributed to the successful integration of the south-western state. We are talking about the Danube Swabians who have arrived here since 1944\/45 as refugees, displaced persons or resettlers. You have enriched the country in many ways and made a significant contribution to Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg’s success.<\/p>\n

More than 500 birthday presents were on display: souvenirs from the old homeland in Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Croatia, but also things that expressed the gift giver’s attachment to their new homeland Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.
